Hello, and a warm welcome

I offer an anti-oppressive, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where all identities, backgrounds, and experiences are valued. Moreover, reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, and you don't have to face life's challenges alone.

Here, you are invited to bring your whole self — your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and hopes — and be met with care, empathy, and respect. In other words, this is a place where you can move at your own pace.

I believe you already carry the wisdom and resilience you need, and our work together can help bring that forward.

How I work with you

I see therapy as a collaborative journey, guided by openness, curiosity, and your unique needs. Together, we can explore how your inner and outer worlds shape who you are, gently uncovering strengths and tender places.

As a result, new possibilities for healing and growth often emerge. While counselling can sometimes feel challenging, it can also bring clarity, resilience, and even moments of lightness and humour.

People I frequently support

I welcome everyone aged 14+. Additionally, I have particular experience supporting people affected by sexual abuse, adult survivors of CSE, domestic abuse recovery, trauma, anxiety, chronic illness and pain, baby loss, and grief. Whatever your story, I hold a steady belief in your capacity for growth.

My approach

My approach is integrative counselling, drawing on Person-Centred counselling, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transactional Analysis (TA), somatic awareness, and creative interventions.

As a qualified counsellor in Exeter and East Devon, I work from a trauma-informed perspective, always respecting your pace, your safety, and your unique journey.

Furthermore, my own life experiences help me bring depth of empathy and compassion to create a safe and trusting environment.

Common Questions

Counselling is a collaborative process where we work together at your pace. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Each session is guided by what you need in that moment.
This depends entirely on your needs – therapy is led by you. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term support. There's no pressure or fixed timeline. We'll regularly review our work together to ensure it's meeting your needs.
Yes, absolutely. What we discuss remains between us, with only the specific legal exceptions that I'll clearly explain in our first meeting. Your privacy and trust are paramount. I follow BACP ethical guidelines, which ensure the highest standards of confidentiality.
Sessions are £55 for one hour. Payment can be made by bank transfer 48 hours in advance or cash on the day. Reduced rates may be available at my discretion – please ask if cost is a barrier. I believe everyone deserves access to support.
I offer sessions in Exeter and East Devon, with options for traditional therapy rooms, walk & talk therapy in nature, online via Teams/Zoom, or phone sessions – whatever feels most comfortable for you. All spaces are wheelchair accessible.
We'll start with a free 30-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit. If we decide to work together, the first full session is about understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve – all at your pace, with no pressure.
If having someone with you would help you feel more comfortable, let's discuss this during your free initial consultation. We can explore together what would work best for you and ensure everyone feels safe and supported.
Life happens, and I understand that. I do have a 48hr cancellation policy, however I am flexible and will try to offer you a different date where possible.
